What should I expect my session to be like?
My headshot sessions are very straight forward. I offer a relaxed pace, where we can let the creativity flow. We’ll work together to get images that
What location should I choose for my session?
My headshot sessions are generally shot in studio. This gives us flexibility for lighting, warddrobe and styling. I am available to come to your location of choice for an additional fee. Local parks or historic downtown areas are great options to have a session but the possibilities are endless.
Should I Use a Makeup Artist?
Men, generally you can skip this question unless you have a complexion issue that should be addressed. Ladies, we highly recommend having a stylist at your session. Our makeup artist is very skilled and knows how to make you look great in front of our lights.
Your stylist at your salon probably does amazing work, but knowing how our lighting reacts with your makeup is what sets our artist apart. More importantly, having an artist at the session allows for different styling options during your session allowing you to achieve more than one look during the session.
The makeup service is an addon and not included in the session fee. We will put you in contact with the makeup artist and they can provide you with their current session fee.
What on earth should I wear?
Preparing for your headshot session is just as important as your actual session. Getting in the right frame of mind, figuring out your style and being recently groomed will give you a fantastic foundation for your session. For more details, I’ve written a guide for you on How to Prepare for Your Headshot Session.
Can I Get More Images from my Session?
Absolutely! We get clients asking for more images all the time. Additional images can be purchased for $50 per image. Simply let me know when making your selections that you’d like additional images and I’ll take care of it.
What do the limited copyright privileges on my jpegs include?
I will provide you with a copyright release form along with your jpegs that gives you the right to have prints made, make photo books, email images to friends, put them on facebook, etc. The images are ultimately still property of the photographer and, since they have been carefully enhanced, cannot be altered in any way.
Do You Work With Groups?
Of course. Just complete the form to my right and let me know a little more about your specific needs. I’ll follow up by phone and get your organization all setup!
