Weight Loss Wednesday: A Fresh Start
I’ve chatted about losing weight and things along those lines for months, if not years, and after participating in the Heart Walk, the thoughts have been growing. A few days ago, my wife issued a small challenge to me, the thought of each of us losing 10lbs by Christmas. I like the idea of small steps. I’ve always been focused on the end goal, and I don’t think that’s helped much.
I got an email earlier this week that today is Start! Eating Healthy Day, so I figured, hey why not! Maybe it’s a sign you know?
So I went ahead and weighed myself, not pretty, but guess we’ll be honest. 165.5lbs! Wasn’t that great! Awesome news! I was really surprised! Well anyways…thanks for joining me on this incredible journey of weight loss.

What? You don’t believe me? Geesh, I think it’s perfectly acceptable that I lose 60 lbs in a few moments. I can’t believe you don’t believe me. WELL FINE! ;0) My real weight is 233lbs. So my goal by Christmas Day is 223lbs. 1o lbs lost! I’ve signed up at Start Walking Now and created my own walking plan. 16 weeks of getting healthy! Why don’t you come join me!
