Outraged @EBethNH – Sickening Tweet By This Person

Ok. Time for a real rant.  This rant is one surrounding the response of “supposed” christians that have no idea how ignorant the words coming out of their mouth are.  These are the types of people that I know I should pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth of Christ, however it’s so tough for me to want to actually show them the love Christ asks us to show.

“@Obama I hold you personally responsible for all of the deaths at Ft. Hood today – when are you going to support our troops? #tcot #p2″ – EBethNH (via twitter)

These words, before the bodies are even cold are so callous, so ignorant, so repugnant, that I’m unsure of how to respond.  The only thing I can think of is to denounce these words, and pray for the families of those slain and wounded in this horrible incident today.  These are the words of a “Christian” and they infuriate me.

I’m shocked and amazed that someone who claims to be a Christian can be so callous, so amazingly insensitive.  Let all of us, christians, and non-christians alike denounce this woman, and work to make sure that those who are suffering know we are praying for them.

Note: I have been asked to remove the screenshots of these tweets as they are “copyrighted”.  Since I don’t really care about fighting this, I’ve simply quoted this person here.  The images will be kept on file should there be any need to prove the quote took place.

I agree with her 100%. Bozo IS responsible for the deaths today and the many to come because he can’t get his head out of Soros’s ass long enough to be the Commander in Chief. I don’t Proclaim to be a Christian or any other religion. Barak Obozo needs to Man up and start to accept things that are his fault and not Bush’s. YOU need to direct your anger at someone who deserves it…like O’bozo, the man who HATES the UNITED STATES and its soldiers.

John, I respect you enough to allow your free speech to run here. I’m not going to censor anyone, however, I will stand up when I feel someone is in the wrong. And it is clear to me that both you and @EBethNH are out of line, and completely incapable of seeing this incident for what it was. A horrible, tragic, and disturbing rampage of a single man. You can lay that at Obama’s feet as much as you can lay that at George Bush’s feet or any other individual in this country.

I’m not a fan of many of the policies of our President. However, I will treat him with the respect our Commander in Chief deserves. And I won’t lay something at his feet that he is not responsible for. He didn’t pay this man to go on a rampage, he wasn’t engaged with this person then sent him out to do this. I’m 100% for putting responsibility where it lies, and right now, that responsibility falls to one man, and he is in custody in Texas.

Finally, as a Christian, I’m disgusted by her statement. I’m disgusted that she would dare to darken the image of my God by spitting such vile words while claiming to be his follower. If she doesn’t like that her statement is now officially public, that’s unfortunate, she never should have shared her views where they could be found. I dare each of you to take a moment, and put this tragedy in it’s real perspective, and have a heart for those injured, and point your disdain at the one who committed the act.

I’d love to know if you two were as angry and as hateful towards our last president when the abuses in Iraq came to light. Did you spit this venom on him? Did you lay those actions at his feet? Or did you dismiss those actions as rogue actions of a few soldiers who chose to not follow orders?

I happened on the @EBethNH outraged tweet. I didn’t really know any of the facts and took time to do some research. I discovered it didn’t have any basis in reality.
It seems she saw the Moslem sounding name and in blind rage jumped to conclusion that WASN’T fact.

I didn’t vote for Obama, in fact I actively voted against him, I originally thought that he just was unqualified for the job as well as having some conflicting, conservative views. My present opinion is less charitable, but he simply is free of any guilt in this matter, that belongs to a greatly distressed man, who given his profession as a Psychiatrist, should of had better coping skills or the awareness to go for help before getting to this point.

Our Ms. @EBethNH is behaving badly and irrationally, at least, on this matter. Proclaiming herself as a Christian puts her in a position of being of higher virtue and compassion and setting an example of worthier behavior than the average person. The reality of her being a “Christian Conservative” she has given a black eye to being both and as of last tweeted account, is firmly unapologetic about it, and possibly blind to it. I say last account as she has locked her tweets to followers only, apparent she doesn’t accept contradiction or take criticism even remotely as well as she gives it. She’s also quite outrage her tweet appeared elsewhere, a curious expectation of sovereignty for a broadcasted view on the internet.

It’s very unfortunate when someone proclaiming to be a follower of Christ, acts in such a way. It saddens me that someone obviously has heard the message of Christ, but simply has no understanding of the real meaning behind those words. I pray that in some way, her heart is opened to see the true love of Christ and what his love can do in a time like this.
